The Autry “ReVOlt 1680/2180: Sirens & Sikas,” futuristic images by Cochiti Pueblo artist Virgil Ortiz depict a different outcome to the Native American uprising against Spanish colonizers in New Mexico in the late 17th century, opening July 2; “Stirs Up the Dust,” traditional Native American iconography also gets a futuristic spin in works by Apsáalooke multimedia artist Wendy Red Star, opening July 6.
