The 2023 historical drama “Oppenheimer” leads the field with 13 nominations at this year’s “BAFTA Film Awards” hosted by “Doctor Who’s” David Tennant. 11 a.m. Britbox

NASCAR’s finest are revved up and ready to go for this year’s running of the Daytona 500 in Daytona Beach, Fla. 11:30 a.m. Fox

Adam Sandler, Kylie Minogue and country music’s Lainey Wilson are singled out for special honors at “The 2024 People’s Choice Awards” hosted by Simu Liu. 5 p.m. NBC, E! and Peacock

Pro basketball’s finest hit the hardwood for this year’s NBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis. The Lakers’ LeBron James captains the Western Conference squad and the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Eastern. 5 p.m. TBS, TNT

All things being unequal, the mysterious Robyn McCall (Queen Latifah) returns to set things straight in a fourth season of “The Equalizer.” 8 p.m. CBS

Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie are back at the judges table for yet another season of “American Idol” hosted by Ryan Seacrest. 8 p.m. ABC

They’re in the nude but not in the mood in new episodes of the outdoor survival series “Naked and Afraid.” 8 p.m. Discovery Channel

Next stop, Flavortown! Host Guy Fieri fires up another season of the culinary competition “Tournament of Champions.” 8 p.m. Food Network

“The Man in the Guesthouse” overstays his welcome in this new thriller about a young couple who pick the wrong person to rent to. With Kristen Alderson. 8 p.m. Lifetime

Tawdry tales of ethically compromised political figures are rehashed for your edification and/or delectation in the new series “The United States of Scandal with Jake Tapper.” 9 and 10 p.m. CNN

It’s case closed in the finale of “True Detective: Night Country,” the Alaska-set fourth season of the mystery anthology series. With Jodie Foster and Kali Reis. 9 p.m. HBO

“CSI: Vegas,” the fifth entry in the forensic-drama franchise, gambles on a third season. Paula Newsome and Matt Laurie star. 10 p.m. CBS

“What Would You Do?” What wouldn’t we do! The hidden camera show exploring everyday folks’ reactions to moral dilemmas returns with new episodes. 10 p.m. ABC

Everyone’s favorite apoplectic Brit turned naturalized American is back with a new season of his satirical series “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.” 11 p.m. HBO
