World War II veterans share their perspectives on today’s political landscape in “D-Day: Why We Still Fight for Democracy” on a new “The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper.” 8 p.m. CNN

It’s a shore thing: Home renovation experts Chip and Joanna Gaines work their magic on a waterfront property in the new franchise entry “Fixer Upper: The Lake House.” 8 p.m. HGTV

The two-night special “The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson” remembering the ex-wife of former football star O.J. Simpson concludes. 8 p.m. Lifetime

Trash will be talked, non-alcoholic drinks thrown, etc. as the franchise entry “The Real Housewives of Dubai” returns for a second season. 9 p.m. Bravo

Hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, oh my! The former star of “Ray Donovan” is your guide to extreme weather events around the world in the new series “Violent Earth with Liev Schreiber.” 9 p.m. CNN

Mmm … carbs. The new series “World Eats Bread” explores the cultural origins of different varieties of one of humanity’s most basic food staples. First up: sourdough. 10 p.m. National Geographic

Dr. Orna Guralnik does her darndest to keep more troubled relationships afloat in new episodes of “Couples Therapy.” 10 and 10:30 p.m. Showtime


Monday — June 3

Hostilities between the U.S. and Russia back on Earth lead to conflicts between astronauts and cosmonauts aboard the International Space Station in the 2023 sci-fi thriller “I.S.S.” With Chris Messina and Ariana DeBose. Anytime, Paramount+

They’re stretching their hamstrings, quads, etc., for a new season of the extreme obstacle-course competition “American Ninja Warrior.” With hosts Matt Iseman, Akbar Gbajabiamila and Zuri Hall. 8 p.m. NBC

The new special “The Real Red Tails” salutes the Tuskegee Airmen, the Black pilots of the U.S. Army Air Corps who fought the good fight in the skies over Europe during WWII. 8 p.m. National Geographic

They aren’t the 99%! Everyday folks put their brain power to the test for the chance to join “The 1% Club” and walk away with a nice chunk of change in his new game show hosted by comic Patton Oswalt. 9 p.m. Fox

Ahoy, there! The reality franchise entry “Below Deck Mediterranean” cruises in for a ninth season. 9 p.m. Bravo
