Seasons gritos! Legendary Mexican wrestler “El Hijo del Santo” will serve as grand marshal in live coverage of the 78th Annual East LA Mexican Independence Day Parade. 10 a.m. KABC
“Shōgun” leads all comers with 25 nominations at the 76th Emmy Awards broadcast live from the Peacock Theater in downtown L.A. Father-and-son duo Eugene Levy and Dan Levy of “Schitt’s Creek” fame co-host. 5 p.m. ABC
The venerable newsmagazine “60 Minutes” clocks in for its 57th season with special segments on the Jan. 6 insurrection, tensions between China and the Philippines and pop star Dua Lipa. 7 p.m. CBS
Retired detective inspector “Ridley” is back on the case in a second season of this British mystery drama. With Adrian Dunbar and Bronagh Waugh. 8 p.m. KOCE
A couple out hiking in Joshua Tree are menaced by a shadowy figure in the new thriller “Nightmare in the Desert.” With Gia De Sauvage. 8 p.m. Lifetime
“Magpie Murders’” Lesley Manville reprises her role as literary editor turned amateur sleuth Susan Ryeland in the new followup series “Moonflower Murders” based on the Anthony Horowitz novels. 9 p.m. KOCE
“Van der Valk” will walk der walk and talk der talk once more in new episodes of this mystery drama set in Amsterdam. Marc Warren stars. 10 p.m. KOCE
Four’s company and five’s a crowd as the polygamy-themed unscripted series “Sister Wives” returns for yet another season. 10 p.m. TLC

“Candice Renoir” is back on le case as the imported mystery drama set in a seaside resort town is France returns for its 10th and penultimate season. With Cécile Bois. Anytime, Acorn TV
Survey says…! “Celebrity Family Feud” closes its season with two new episodes followed by an hour-long special spotlighting some of host Steve Harvey’s funniest moments. 8, 9 and 10 p.m. ABC
It’s all about the treats and not so much about the tricks as “Halloween Baking Championship” returns for 10th season. 9 p.m. Food Network
Oscar winner Mira Sorvino (“Mighty Aphrodite”) pays it pack in a new episode of the home renovation series “Celebrity IOU.” 9 p.m. HGTV
