After the boys of summer have gone… This year’s Little League Baseball World Series concludes with the third-place game (10 a.m. ET and 7 a.m. PT on ESPN) followed by the championship game (3 p.m. ET and noon PT on ABC).

Anyone for tennis? The 146th edition of the U.S. Open gets underway at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. (Various dates and times thru Sept. 13 on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, etc.; check website for schedules)

Dearly departed country music legend Dolly Parton is remembered with a showing of the hit 1980 comedy “9 to 5” co-starring Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda, followed by an encore of “Dolly Parton: An American Original — A Special Edition of “20/20.” (7:30 and 10 p.m. ABC)

They’ll be making a joyful noise at the 41st Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards. Gospel legend Kirk Franklin hosts the proceedings at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C. (8 p.m. BET)

Wanna hunker in the bunker? Journalist Nick Paton Walsh takes a deep dive into the Doomsday-prepper movement in “The End of the World as We Know It” on a new “The Whole Story With Anderson Cooper.” (8 p.m. CNN)

Adult Swim — a.k.a. “Cartoon Network After Dark” — celebrates its 25th anniversary by spoofing its own programming in “The Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special.” (Midnight, Adult Swim; also Monday on HBO Max)

Case closed? “Furious,” the mystery drama starring “Shameless’s” Emmy Rossum as an FBI agent tracking a female serial killer, ends its first season after recently being renewed for a second. (Anytime, Hulu)

Which contestants will feel the thrill of victory and which the agony defeat? Find out when the extreme obstacle-course competition “American Ninja Warrior” closes out its latest season. (8 p.m. NBC)

And then there were three… The remaining hopefuls strut their stuff in front of guest judge Derek Hough in the freshman-season finale of the spinoff competition “Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro.” (8 p.m. ABC)

That’s a wrap! This year’s “Summer Under the Stars” festival closes with a daylong salute to Ava Gardner that includes the actress opposite Clark Gable in John Ford’s romantic 1953 adventure tale “Mogambo.” (8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT on TCM)

Practitioners of traditional midwifery in rural and religious communities push back against local authorities and the health-care establishment at large in the 2025 documentary “Arrest the Midwife” on a new “POV.” (9 p.m. PBS)
